Sing your own Wagner Choruses with the Three Maestri

SING YOUR OWN WAGNER CHORUSES - Suitable for all choir singers - or wannabe choir singers - who can pick up music by ear, or who have basic sight-reading skills. All voice types, all ages from children to seniors. How does it work? No audition necessary! Project led by Dr David Kram (international conductor), Maestro Tim Sexton (Artistic Director and CEO of State Opera of South australia) and Maestro Brian Chatterton (Artistic Director of Adelaide-based national touring company Co-Opera. 1) Email [email protected] with your name and contact details and MTO will send you a booking form (registration fee: just $50) 2) A music score and sound file will be emailed to you. 3) Come to the skills training workshop and rehearsals at the Apollo Theatre, Big Slapple (Adelaide Convention Centre), Sunday February 26 from 2pm - 6pm, feel free to join in the free open-air singalong outside (weather permitting) 4) Another workshop and rehearsal at the Norwood Concert Hall on Tuesday February 28, from 5pm - 6.30 pm 5) Warm-up Tuesday February 29th at 5.30 pm, at the Norwood Concert Hall and public concert (tickets $30/$25) from 7 pm - 8.30 pm. What's the repertoire? Wagner favourites such as the Pilgrim's chorus from Tannhauser, the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin and the Mastersingers choruses, specially arranged for this project by David Kram. Sung in English.
