Steve Riley was the Chair of the 2000 Adelaide Fringe. Here are his memories of the 1996 event...
Realising the relocation of the Fringe from the West End to the East end in 1996.
The opening night parade in 1996 when the parade coordinator Tony Baker had so many individual two way radios linking him to Police, Emergency Services, Fringe staff etc connected to his belt he looked like a mobile version of Pine Gap and whilst walking past the assembled Board and VIP on the Exeter Balcony paused to wave and his shorts fell down!
